Process of FRP Moulding

- Mould Preparation: The mould surface is thoroughly cleaned and treated with release agents to ensure smooth removal of the finished product. Proper mould preparation is essential for achieving accurate dimensions and a high-quality surface finish.
- Fiber Placement: Reinforcement materials such as fiberglass mats or woven fabrics are carefully placed inside the mould. These fibers provide the structural strength and durability required for the final composite component.
- Resin Application: Specialised resin systems are applied to the fiber layers, ensuring complete saturation and bonding. This step forms the composite matrix that binds the fibers together and gives the product its strength.
- Curing & Finishing: The moulded component is allowed to cure under controlled conditions so the resin can harden and achieve maximum strength. Once cured, the product is trimmed, polished, and inspected for quality before final delivery.
